The major ways or methods of website linking are Reciprocal link where the parties or the businesses or the two sites involved agree to advertise each other’s links on their webpages. The links may be associated or unassociated.

If the businesses wants to associate with relevant businesses so that the traffic and conversion rates increase in proportion then they must go for relevant links. In relevant links two or more sites agree to advertise each other’s links only if there is a similarity or connection between the content or line of products endorsed by the two sites.

Three way links are more or less cyclical in nature. If site A advertises site B and site B advertises site C and site C advertises A, then the arrangement is called three way links and generates higher amount of traffic for all the sites involved.
